In connection with the Covid-19 epidemic, the Province of British Columbia established the PST Rebate on Select Machinery and Equipment. This temporary program offers most incorporated businesses a refund equal to the PST paid on purchases or leases of certain types of capital assets between September 17,2020 and March 31, 2022.
This applies to many classes of capital assets, including but not limited to computers, heavy equipment, furniture, tools and zero-emissions vehicles.
The deadline to apply for this rebate was recently extended to October 3rd, 2022.
