Howard Karpes, CPA, CGA
Howard is one of the partners of KSO Accounting Group. With over 25 years of public practice experience and a CGA designation earned in 2002, Howard brings deep expertise and steady leadership to KSO Accounting Group. Based in Prince George he has been a dedicated member of toastmasters International for 20 years. Known for his collaborative leadership style, Howard mentors emerging professionals and helps foster a culture of growth, integrity, and connection within the firm.
Janice Karpes
Janice began her career in public practice under the guidance of her father-in-law, Bill Karpes, and quickly became our go-to for everything from bookkeeping to tax returns. Known for her calm, can-do spirit, she keeps the office running smoothly while training for triathlons and exploring the trails of Prince George.
She’s the kind of person who can balance a budget, conquer a mountain, and still make it look effortless.
Tania Redekopp
Tania joined our firm in February 2012. She is the friendly face greeting you at our front desk and is a wonderful asset to our team. Her interests include music and dance, but her main focus is now her young daughter.
Stefan Sharun
Stefan began his journey with our firm in February 2015, building on a solid foundation earned through his Accounting and Finance diploma with honours in 2013. By day, he navigates the world of numbers with precision and purpose. By evening, he trades spreadsheets for fairways and fret-boards—chasing golf balls under open skies and strumming melodies that echo beyond the moment. His free time is often spent giving back, quietly weaving generosity into the rhythm of his life.
Thomas Hirt, CPA, CGA
Thomas earned his CGA designation in 2011 and brings over 15 years of experience in public accounting. With a comprehensive background in financial management, tax preparation, and accounting systems, he provides clients with dependable, detail-oriented support tailored to their unique needs. Outside of his professional role, Thomas enjoys reading and travelling. His thoughtful nature and curiosity help him connect with clients on a deeper level, making complex financial matters feel approachable and manageable.
Sheri-Lee Prudente
Sheri joined our Prince George office in June 2021. She has over 39 years of experience in accounting, starting out bookkeeping for small businesses in Nanaimo before moving to Prince George in November 1987. Sheri has worked in both CGA and CA public practice firms (26 years) from staff accountant to Senior Manager, as well as experience in the forest industry and Director of Finance for a First Nation Band. In her spare time, Sheri finds joy in Bowling and quiet moments of reflection. Whether she's enjoying the grounding touch of reflexology, sharing laughter with loved ones, or chasing sunlight through outdoor adventures, she embraces life one mindful step at a time.
Prachi Singroha
Prachi began her career at KSO Accounting Group in March 2025, bringing financial precision and creative energy to the team . A graduate of the College of New Caledonia with a diploma in Accounting and Finance, she brings a sharp analytical mind to her accounting role. But her talents don’t stop at numbers—Prachi also curates and edits the company website, infusing it with fresh ideas and visual flair. When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her immersed in the world of cinema, exploring nature, creating videos, or enjoying music that sparks her imagination.
